課程概述 |
觀測和模式輸出資料之統計分析是大氣科學研究和應用必備的基本工具之ㄧ。本學期課程將介紹統計分析相關的理論並以實際的大氣相關資料為例,說明統計方法的應用。本學期除了教科書及文獻研讀外,規劃讓學生使用matlab 套裝軟體分析台灣地區氣候資料。以幫助學生對各種統計方法的了解並建立實際分析資料的能力 |
課程目標 |
(1) Introduction: Probability, Random variable and Probability distribution, Mathematical expectation.
(2) Some Discrete Probability Distribution: Binomial, Hyper-geometric, and Poisson distribution.
(3) Some Continuous Probability Distribution: Normal, Gamma, exponential, Chi-Squared, and Weibull distribution. T- distribution and F- distribution.
(4) Estimation: Statistical inference, Estimating. The mean & variance, Bayesian method of Estimation.
(5) Test of Hypotheses: Testing a statistical Hypotheses, One and two-tailed test., T-tests, Chi-Squared- tests, F-tests.
(6) Linear Regression and Correlation: Sample Linear Regression, Properties of the least square Estimation, Analysis of variance, Correlation, Multiple Linear Regression.
(7) Non Parametric statistics: Non parametric statistics.
